It’s cold outside. I was walking toward the Museum of Modern Art yesterday when I saw this girl. She was wearing metallic-looking reflective silver tights.
I couldn’t help wondering if my tongue would stick to her leg.

I saw John Prine Friday night in New Jersey with my friend James. We took the New Jersey Transit train to Montclair, NJ. The show was at the Wellmont Theater. John Prine is always a good show. His songs and lyrics leave you happy, even his sad songs.

OK Oslow, as you requested. Besides seeing John Prine I joined some friends at BB Kings. Every once in a while you can see a cover band at BB Kings for free or nearly free. I’ve been to a few and it’s always a good time. Not just because of the band, but because it almost always draws an interesting crowd. On this night it was “Riders on the Storm”, a Doors cover band and hookers. Afterward it was another night at McCoys, Oh Boy!

MOMA was cool. They have this bizarre installation in the main lobby area. A surreal video with images of naked women, feet, pigs, bleeding nipples and abstract waves mixing with objects is projecting on the walls while some new age music plays in the background. In the center of the floor is a large circular sofa shaped and colored like a giant eyeball with red vein-like pillows cast about. People all around remove their shoes and frolick about.
The Balzac Slide
My last post was titled “What more can I say.” The answer was “nothing.”
For almost a month I’ve been silent. And even now I only want to say “watch this”.
